I had wanted a donkey to be out with the goats to protect
them so I called a number with donkeys for sale.  We went
there expecting to buy one and ended up with 3 with one of
them being pregnant!  My husband couldn't decide which he
wanted more...the pregnant one or the one with a 4 month
old jenny that was already bred back so we came home with
3! Since that time another jenny was born on the farm and
someone gave us another old, retired jenny bringing the total
to 5.  During the drought we had to scale down and sold all
but the young one born on our farm.  They all went to loving
homes to be guardians or pets.
